Conover, NC (August 23, 2014) – Tuff-N-Lite®, a manufacturer of patented cut, slash and abrasion resistant safety clothing, will showcase its proven injury-preventative apparel during the upcoming GlassBuild America, a glass, window and door expo in Las Vegas, NV.
Now in its 11th year, GlassBuild America is the gathering place for the entire glass, window and door industries across North America. The 2014 event runs from Sept. 9th- 11th at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Tuff-N-Lite® will be displaying their personal protective equipment (PPE) in booth 1873.
Tuff-N-Lite’s largest and oldest customer base is the glass industry. Tuff-N-Lite’s roster of customers include globally leading companies that manufacture large glass products for residential and commercial construction uses.
GlassBuild America attendees come from businesses that manufacture flat glass, residential windows and doors/related products; retail and deal flat glass and residential windows and doors; distribute flat glass and residential window and doors as well as contract glaziers, architects, specifiers and builders.
“Because of the nature of the product, a glass manufacturing facility is an inherently dangerous environment,” said Bill Bowling, director of sales and marketing for Supreme Corporation. “Our personal protective apparel for the industry has emerged as the proven leader in clothing that is long lasting, highly cut-, slash- and abrasion-resistant yet is cool and comfortable in even the extreme heat and dirty conditions found in most glass factories.”
“We are excited to introduce the industry’s first line of high visibility reflective cut, slash and abrasion resistant safety garments. For the first time, equipment operators, truck drivers and onsite installers can be extremely visible and protected from cuts with one safety garment,” he said.
GlassBuild America is organized by the National Glass Association, in partnership with the Glass Association of North America, the American Architectural Manufacturers Association, the Insulating Glass Manufacturers Alliance and the Bath Enclosure
Manufacturers Association. It attracts participants from all facets of the glass, window, and door industries.
